Sunday, May 26, 2013 – Although Oak Island had a nest on May 12th, our first nest wasn’t laid until this morning. After 3 false crawls we had our first nest at marker 60.5 (Dr. Brook’s house) with a 40” crawl. She had laid well into the dunes and the nest was caged and left in situ. The false crawls started at marker 50 and we presume they were all from the same turtle.
