Thursday Night:

Nest #15 had one hatchling emerge as the sun was setting!  He was having trouble with his right front flipper, so we tried a little therapeutic massage.  It seemed to help a little bit.

Nest #33 boiled at 9:32 with 106 hatchlings!!!  They were down the runway and into the water within 12 minutes!

Nest 26 had a nice boil of 50 about 9:45. Several were very disoriented because of street lamp on Caswell Dunes. Great crowd…Lots of kids!

TEAM #7 GETS A GOLD MEDAL for being Early Birds at Nest #40 (Kemp’s)!

They sat yesterday and today from 4:30 am into the morning and again in the evening.  Well today it paid off!  55 turtles boiled slowly between 5:30-7:50 am.  The last 2 were very lethargic as the heat was rising fast!  A nice group of awe struck visitors were able to observe!

Morning Patrol found turtles at the surface of Nest #41.  Team 5 responded quickly to the call!  5 hatchlings made it to the water after resting a while.
