WHEW! The wind blew us away last night, but will hopefully be better today. Many nests and runways were under additional sand and most will need attention today.
Nest #6 hatched right on Day 56 between 9:00 and 9:40 with about 50 hatchlings seen going to the water. Congrats to George for sticking with them!! There were 2 more hatchling tracks this morning.
We have 1 new nest and no false crawls. Nest #81 was laid at the East End near a recent high tide line and 113 eggs were relocated to a safer location.
