June 25, 2023 – Nest #38, #39 and a Nesting Site

WHEW!  The Morning Patrol really worked extra hard (4.5 hours) this morning!  We have Nests #38, #39, a Nesting Site and a False Crawl.  Nests #38 & #39 were fairly easy to find.  The Nesting Site, NOT SO MUCH!  They even called in the ‘Egg Whisperer’, Gary, and they had to take a break.  Teresa and Susan went back after church.  They re-evaluated the site and dug some more and still couldn’t find the eggs.  It is marked as a Nesting Site because it looked like a probable nesting area.  The area is marked like a nest with stakes and tape and will be monitored like a nest.  Thanks for your persistence Morning Patrol!!!

All the nests were in safe locations!

Nest #38
Crawl Width:  86cm/33.8″

Nest #39
