We had 1 false crawl and 1 new nest today!  I see a pattern…

Nest #79 was located in a safe location.

A good samaritan left us a note stating that 2 more hatchlings emerged from Nest #2 last night at 2:00 am.  We appreciate this information!!!!

Sadly, we had a deceased juvenile Kemp’s Ridley found at the high tide line. Most likely a boat strike victim.  Strand Data was taken, a report was filed with the State and it was buried on the beach.  Thanks to our running friends, the Smiths, for alerting us to the turtle!
