Morning findings:
Nest #49 hatched during the night. One dead hatchling in the runway but looked like the others made it to the water.
Since the turtles seem to be racing to get into the water lately someone left them a nice track. 😉
Evening events:
Nest #4 hatched last night. Boil started at 9:08 and finished at 9:48 with 110 hatchlings safely in the water. Special helpers Clara and Grady built the sand runway up for the team. Grady was particularly impressed, said it was “adorable.”
