Each year, Caswell Beach Turtle Watch offers the ability to adopt a sea turtle nest. When a nest is adopted, we created a sign with your name and location, or alternate info you may want on the sign, such as a dedication/memorial to a family member. This sign is placed under the nest number sign at the nesting site. You will receive information about which nest number is assigned to you, and additional status information about the nest will be emailed to you as the nest develops.
There are two options for adoption:
Non-exclusive: Nest adoption may be shared with other adopters, each receives a separate sign at the nest, and individual updates, $25
Exclusive: Nest adoption is exclusive, your sign would be the only one at the nest, $100 (only a limited number are available each year)
To adopt a nest, you must:
Complete and submit the adoption form. Completed forms can be emailed to caswellbeachturtle@gmail.com. You may also mail the form to the address listed on the form along with your payment.
