After nothing yesterday, we had 1 False Crawl and 1 Nest this morning. The Mama with the False Crawl went very high into the east dunes, but didn’t even attempt a body pit. Nest #69 was laid in a safe spot on a lower dune.
We were fortunate to have Karen Clark (KC) from the NC Wildlife Resources Commission ride along with us today. She gave us some keen observations and offered some great advice!
