We have 87 nests!!!!  That is the total number of nests we had last year!

No false crawls today.

Nest #85 had some interesting characteristics. We saw some Green-like parallel flipper strokes and some Loggerhead-like alternating flipper strokes.  Mama dug and abandoned 3 holes before moving up again and laying (another characteristic of Greens).  The DNA will tell us for sure and of course, we will know when we see the hatchlings.

Nest #86 was laid just above the high tide line with an escarpment.  86 eggs were relocated to a safer location.  86 has 86!

Nest #87 was laid in a nicely protected area!
