June 16, 2023 – And we have #27!

It’s always nice to start morning patrol with a beautiful sunrise! Looks like the deer enjoyed the beach last night. Nest #27 was laid in a popular and safe area of our beach this season.   The tide has been high, but not high enough to reach any nests!  

June 15, 2023 – #25 and #26!

After yesterday’s excitement we have 2 more nests to add to the count! This mama had a beautiful crawl!  The nest is located in a safe location on a low dune line.  The Morning Patrol was persistent in finding those eggs as the nest cavity was off to the side a bit! We have Nest #15 – laid in a safe location!
