We had 2 false crawls and 1 nest today!

The first false crawl was again on the East End on the river side.  The Morning Patrol really worked hard to verify there were no eggs!!  Sure wish we could use a ‘Shell Phone’ and ask the Mamas to aim farther down Caswell Beach!

Nest #69 was laid right on a short ledge at the high tide line.  128 eggs were relocated to a safer location.

The second false crawl was pretty, but obvious, too.

Nests #1 & #2 did not have any activity overnight, but who knows what will happen during the rains today/tonight?
