We had 2 nests and 3 false crawls this morning.

Nest #67 was laid just west of the East Point in an escarpment.  98 eggs were relocated to a safer location!

The first false crawl Mama crawled up right beside a sailboat, turned in the grass and went back out.

The 2nd false crawl was out Multi-Pit Mama.  Bless her heart, we wish we could assist her!  She stopped about 6 times, but didn’t dig into the sand.

The 3rd false crawl left a nest cavity empty and uncovered.

Nest #68 was laid just at the high tide line, tidal debris was right behind it.  114 eggs were relocated to the dune line.  Karen was excited to help on this one!

Nests #1 and #2 are still taking their time.  We are trying to be patient as we want them to be fully developed when they hatch!
