We Hit A Delightful Dozen Sea Turtle Nests

After a few days of nesting drought Caswell Beach now has a dozen sea turtle nests! Nest #11 was safely laid on a high dune. Unfortunately, Nest #12 was laid near the high tide line in a low lying area known to flood. 126 eggs were relocated to higher ground. The turtle Mamas are loving our Brunswick County beaches!
